Rapid Waters Development began working with Integrative Restoration through the work that we have done with Jeremy Caldwell - Eternalistic Design (@eternalistic) on the new DrupalMAO design. This was another project where we were to come in and fix a few issues and then be done. Because of our Rapid turnaround time and quality work we have been steadily involved with maintenance and improving features.

The site, which appears to be simple, is actually quite complex. The site is built using Drupal 6 which has been extended to include CiviCRM and Ubercart as vital features to this platform. This goes to show what a good design, with great navigation can do to improve the user experience. Due to the complexity of the code and database, it was quite cumbersome to administer when we first began working on the site. Some pages, especially the administration pages would take 20 plus seconds to load.  It was obvious that this site was in need of server administration and performance enhancements. Over the course of an evening we were able to get a 29+ second page load down to under 6 seconds, which from the browser appears to happen in the blink of an eye.
